outdoor first aider
UPDATE: currently we don't have enough people to run our group but once we have enough interest again we will be back up and running. please register your interest on rootstobranchesfs@gmail.com
For under 7's please look below at our Mudders group

Mudders!
Suitable for ages 2-7 years.
Nature is the ideal, sensory learning environment. At Mudders your child will be surrounded by nature that will stimulate all of their senses. The play-based learning will cover areas like nature ID, rope skills, tools, shelter and fire.
Activities are all child led and could include obstacles, nature walks, mud potions, mini beasts, patterns, colours in nature, stories, songs and more.
We have opened up this session to include preschool age children and school aged children that aren't in school on Wednesdays. This is to allow our not so mini Mudders to grow mentally and physically.
We will be extending on skills and knowledge of the outdoor world, basic bushcraft, den building, fire lighting, campfire cooking and more.
Sessions are led by Claire and Lisa. Led with a play based learning ethos
If you would like to bring a snack and drink with you please do. We may explore some seasonal foods during the sessions but snack is not provided each session.
The walk to the woodland and the woodland itself is not pathed so is not suitable for city prams or wheelchairs. If you have a off road pram this should make it to the woods no problem. The woods is a short walk from where we park our cars.
If you would like to see any risk assessments please email rootstobranchesfs@gmail.com
Please only bring one supervising adult per child.
