Family Forest School Club

On the 1st Saturday or 2nd Sunday each month, join a woodland session for all the family. Each session is led by you, this could mean whittling projects, fire lighting, games, treasure hunts, creativity with nature, stories, wild play and more.  So far we have looked at mini beats, vikings, superheros and within these general themes we have done trails, whittled swords, made viking bread, identified trees to make jewellery, split logs, lit fires, played games, got muddy, made dens and more.

Suitable for ages 4-16 and all grown ups but all ages are welcome.

Friday Family Forest School after school Club - BIG MUDDERS

On Alternate Fridays in term time we have an after school session for school aged children and their family.

An after school treat at the end of a working week for all the family. Spend time connecting with nature and each other in our meadow. You will be invited to join in games, exploration, nature craft, relaxation, bush craft, tools, fire lighting and more, plus cooking a teatime treat on the fire. You can join in the activities or play freely in the 1 acre contained meadow.

Each session we will cook a teatime snack on the fire. When we cook we try our best to accommodate everybody's food requirements. However, we may ask you to bring items from home on occasion so we can include everyone in our cooking fun.

All lead by a forest school level 3 practitioner with a forests school ethos of participant led play and learning.

Suitable for ages 4-16 and all grown ups but all ages are welcome.
